6" of not-so-fluffy white stuff. Too sticky to go sledding or skiing, but not so fluffy that it sticks to asphalt. What's really depressing is when this happens in June!

Sweet Summertime!
It's hard to believe Memorial Day is in less than a week. This is what I woke up to 2 days ago...

Many Hats
I hate going so long between posts. I try not to write about everyday mundain things and try to stick to the really exciting stuff. Bevan is still unemployed but the end is in sight. He's getting anxious to buy his new logging boots and carharts for the upcoming season (I want to throw in some flannel shirts and red suspenders). He's really happy about the crew he gets to work with this year. There will only be 4 of them cutting trees, but he prefers it this way.
I am slowly getting back into the swing of things. I'm almost full time, but that really depends on how much work we have going on. I'm still looking for an official drawing to stamp and sign with my fancy, shmancy seal, but we really don't do a whole lot that would require it. The other day, a client asked me if I was certified to design his patio and I said yes! (checking myself to not sound too excited that it actually came up) I can't believe somebody really cared! Anyway, the crew is busy on a job down in Salt Lake, and in order to keep me busy, my boss said we need to start wearing different hats. So... I've been learing about office filing, job audits, and even advertising! He asked me to design an ad for the "Home and Garden" insert in the local newspaper to drum up more business. I came up with something, although it looks like it belongs in a Jr. High yearbook rather than with other professionals. Oh well. Here's me finally putting in a plug for the company. Thanks Mom for helping with the grammar! Cheers all!
