Baby Drew is 3 months old!

Wow, time is flying!  Little Drew is growing and growing.  He's been such a good baby and Anna and Dallin just love him... a lot!  Dallin's "hugs" can be a little too much sometimes.  More like dog-pile.  Drew's hair is coming in dark-blond and sticking straight up!  He's earned the nickname, Buzz.  He's starting to focus on toys in front of him and has intentions of grabbing them eventually.  His favorite hobbies are chewing on his fist, kicking his legs, smiling at himself in the mirror, and breathing heavily when he gets excited!  If you stick your face right up to his and start talking to him, he'll try to talk back.  So much to say, too!  He's had a pesky eye infection for the last 3 weeks, but that's my only complaint.

These babies are so sweet and innocent.  It's fun to watch them figure things out.
A new life.
A fresh start.
A clean slate.
I'll try not to mess this one up!

Family... with a side of football

The Denver Bronocs made it to the Super Bowl this year.  Bevan couldn't have been more excited!  This was going to be an extra special trip to Idaho for a football party.  We have a free trial of Sirius XM radio (when we bought our car) that we finally utilized for the road trip.  I don't know, Bevan sure likes it, but ever since having kids, I don't blast the tunes like I used to.  Most times I just prefer silence in the car.  Can't imagine why, right?  More evidence I'm just getting old!

Vanessa and Trent's house was hopping, of course!  They're so good at making you feel welcome.  They even made up our downstairs "family suite".  I went to bed anticipating my "free-day" of eating whatever I want.  I joined a healthy-habits challenge that's been really curbing the sweets and junk-consumption.  You're allowed one "free-day" and I was planning this one for a while!  There's always good food at Vanessa's house.

The Broncos won, Cam Newton was a sore looser, and I got so stuffed it hurt to move!  I enjoyed eating it all... but didn't enjoy the grossness afterwards.  Lesson learned!  Paul came for the evening and it was fun to catch up on baby news (still can't believe he's a dad!).  He and Bevan went to soak in Lava Hot Springs the next morning.  They were both suffering from sore backs and neck, and I was not looking forward to taking 3 small children to the hot pools.  Although it wouldn't be the only time we caused a scene.  My favorite was our 2013 trip!  Good times!  I opted for the leisure drive around Pocatello with Vanessa on a Monday morning, and a visit to Costco when it's actually empty!  It was a great way to spend a weekend!

Random Winter Pics: The Best of January

I better put these out there, before winter is gone.  It was a good January!
The kiddos and I went on a few strolls...
I got to go skiing TWICE! (which is 2 times more than I thought I would go),
the kids built a snowman (okay, it was me, but they decorated it)
I shoveled some snow...
shoveled some more snow...
Bevan bought a snow blower,
and it finally quit snowing!
That sums up January in a nutshell!
