Random cute pictures of the kiddos

We went bowling last Monday afternoon.  Obviously, had the place to ourselves!  Bevan killed it, Anna's geting better, I'm getting worse, and Dallin tried to test the limits.  I had to retrieve him from the bathroom, from behind the grill counter, and halfway down a bowling lane.

The next day I found him chilling out in the sink.  Who does he think he is?!

Skiing, Vito's, and Valentine's Day

While in Pocatello the week before, I was able to persuade Vanessa to ditch her responsibilities and come skiing for a day!  So easy to convince!  She brought Jen Michelson and we had a blast.  Obviously the snow could have been better (the theme for the season) but they had a good time.  We feasted on turkey chili cheese fries, a Deer Valley specialty.  Only with Vanessa and her friends, does everyone gets their OWN!  Love it!  Made for some sloppy skiing that afternoon, but Bevan and I had to call it quits anyway to get back to the kids.  Until next year!

It was Valentine's Day later that week and we went to Vito's, Heber's newest Italian restaurant.  We've always wanted to try it!  Didn't disappoint!  How can you go wrong with shrimp fettuccine alfredo?!  Bevan got me a new watch from "the Barn" and a lot of chocolate.  Great day!

Football and Lava

Ah, the annual trip to Idaho for family, food, and football!  This will be the best year yet!  Well, actually, the Denver Broncos lost in the playoffs, so Bevan would cheer for whoever was playing against the Seahawks.  That weekend we were Patriots fans!

We drove up Saturday night after meeting up with Bevan in Park City.  We left one car parked at the park-n-ride and hoped it would still be there 3 days later.  There are no signs suggesting any regulations or overnight parking.  We felt we were safe!  Who would touch my dumpy car?  Rust is contagious!  Anyway, Anna slept a good part of the way.  Dallin was WIDE AWAKE and whiny as ever, but finally fell asleep 5 minutes outside of Pocatello.  Oh well!

We went to church with Vanessa and Trent and it was amazing how many ladies remembered me from LAST year when we came  up!
"Oh yes, Vanessa's sister from Midway!"
Dallin made quite the ruckus and we literally got lost wandering the halls of that church.  I felt better by being allowed to drive their new suv home from church.
"Nothing beats that new car smelllllll!"
That afternoon it was one big mesh of food and kids and football.  Well, I really didn't watch the game until it was almost over.  We had too much fun eating and talking upstairs.  Uncle Paul brought a new football card game, Jukem, that's so addicting!  Must have it!  Anna and Dallin were so engrossed in all the new toys, I didn't see much of them either.  Vanessa made amazing food, as always, but I made sure not to overdo it because we were running that next morning with her friends.

5AM always comes waaay to soon.  Is this what early morning running feels like?  It's been a while.  We had a great time and I felt really good!  She has such dedicated running buddies.  It motivates me to get something organized in Midway, but for some reason, the word "5AM" is big turn-off.  It'll happen!

Later that morning, we headed off to Lava Hot Springs.  Love that place!  We put Dallin in the puddle jumper and he started venturing to the deep end.  That boy is fearless!  Anna and cousin Luke sat in the shallows, perfectly content!  The hot water was very relaxing and made for a drowsy drive home.  We were so relaxed we completely forgot about my car back in Park City.  Oops!  Almost a perfect weekend!  Sadly, the Lava pictures accidentally got deleted... but here's some from Sunday.  Vanessa has the most amazing kids!!!
