I can’t believe Dallin is 4 years
old! He’s had some struggles with his speech over the last year or
so, but it’s coming along. His eyes must be improving because he
hates going without his glasses. We’ve already replaced the lenses
once because they get so scratched up! Uncle John says that’s good
because that means he actually wears them!
Dallin is such an active boy, but not
in a destructive way, just busy! He loves his bike but is still
hesitant to go without training wheels. He sleeps so hard every
night because of sheer exhaustion. He feels empathy really well for
a 4-year-old. If he hurts Drew or Anna (it’s usually by accident),
he’s always quick to feel sad for them. He can have the most
sensitive of emotions sometimes. We love our “big D”!
We celebrated with Memorial Day at the
cabin with dutch oven potatoes and endless Yerf Dog rides. How would
you like your birthday always on a party holiday?!
