We're discovering new things about our sweet Anna. She loves books. She loves book shelves. She loves taking books OFF of book shelves. Now we move on to the kitchen. She loves cabinets. She loves the pots, pans, dish towels, plastic bags, manuals, tools, and small appliances that are IN the cabinets. She proceeds to empty the cabinets. Who knows why? Next she crawls to the bathroom. She loves open toilets. She loves the water IN the toilets. She loves the cotton swabs in the bottom drawer. Sometimes these go INTO the toilet.
Does it ever end?
Anna loves stairs. This doesn't bother us anymore. Living in a split-level house with shaggy-carpeted stairs taught her quickly how to deal with this. I still get nervous when she bullets to a long flight of stairs, but she manages. We did return our cheap baby gate and bought some cabinet locks instead.
