Heber Half 2019

I have a love/ hate relationship with running.  I love the energy, endorphins, friends and cold weather.  But once it starts getting hot, I shrivel up.  I love that the Heber Half is at the end of June, before it starts getting super hot.  They're smart running directors too, the finishing medal is a puzzle piece and you have to do it for 4 years to get all 4 puzzle pieces.  My kids are like, "We need the other pieces!"  So now I'm committed until 2021 and I'm fine with that.  I can handle like 1 race a year, right?  I love that Bevan does it with me and gets me to move faster than my normal pace, but not in a very lovey way, more of like a drill sergeant/ Bob Harper kind of way.  He gets her done though and I got a new PR.  Yay!  Time to slow down, go on a few more bike rides, and count the weeks until it's 40 degrees and I feel like going running again.

Mair kids come to visit

We love having Nora's kids here!  They're so good and polite, entertain my kids, and eat everything I serve them.  Paige was a wonderful babysitter, when I needed it, and made me and Anna some beautiful jewelry!  Seriously, she could sell at swiss day!  Stuart kept an extra eye on Tommy and even  did some jobs around the house.  Isaac and Mckay kept Dallin and Drew entertained the whole time.  They rode scooters, bikes and jumped on the trampoline non-stop!  Having that many kids here definitely adds an extra level of fun.
