Coronapocalypse, the rest of it

School’s out... FOREVER! Well, not forever, but for the rest of the school year. It might as well be forever. Ughhh! We decided to convalesce at the cabin again for the weekend. It’s getting so pretty and green! There were plenty of projects to keep me and Bevan busy, and the kids found out how much fun it was to throw things off the balcony. We dragged them out for a hike and Bevan tried to take Dallin fishing… again. Grandma Christy was so nice to put a keyboard in the upstairs bedroom for Anna to practice her piano songs. She’s so spoiled! The boys have been sleeping in the bunk house by themselves, which had me worried at first, but they slept better out there than they do at home!

Addie turns 18 + Easter!

I cannot believe sweet, little, Adelaide is officially 18! We were NOT going to miss this party, covid or no covid. We brought pot roast and carrot cake! It was so good for the kids to see their cousins again! It is only right that we spend Easter with family. We figured that Addie’s birthday won’t fall on Easter Sunday again for another 93 years so we better make this one count!

We met Beverly and Lloyd at the cabin the day before and they brought pizza and a mini easter egg hunt for the kids! That was so nice of them! I was upset that all the easter egg hunts were cancelled. They brought one to us!

I finally started back at work again and it’s been business as usual. I would say it’s even busier! Folks are just sitting at home, staring at their yards, wondering how much it would cost to install a paver patio and fire pit so they can enjoy their quarantine in style. Out of the 12 or so jobs we had lined up for this season, only 1 cancelled due to economic uncertainty. And then we added another 4 to the list! It’s going to be a long summer.
